Atkinson, NH borders Haverhill, Massachusets and Plaistow, New Hampshire to the South and Hampstead, New Hampshire to the North.
It is close to route 125 and route 121 goes through town. Population is 6,638 in 2004. School grades 1-12 are part of the Timberlane Regional.
